I remembered the time I spent in Australia visiting my baby sister. I spent 2 weeks with an Aborigine tribe and learned about the wonderful uses of tallow. I then worked on this formulation.
It is NOT a BODY LOTION; it is for severely dry sections of your body! It does take about 20 minutes for it to ABSORB into your skin. It is ULTRA rich, hence the time absorption time.
I use organic grass-fed tallow! Why? The fatty acids in tallow are similar in molecular structure and composition to those found in the protective outer layer of human skin and in naturally produced skin oils (sebum).
This makes tallow highly skin compatible, allowing it to absorb easily into the skin to improve the protective barrier function of the skin, prevent moisture loss and regenerate the appearance of healthy, youthful looking skin.
I also add myrrh for its documented skin regenerative properties. The scents are more for your pleasure then health benefits. The fragrance oils I use are for use in skin care products. Stearic acid is a white, waxy, natural acid found in vegetable fats. It is used as a natural preservative.

I work as a bartender and I use the sink method (that is 3 sinks to wash, rise and sanitize) and wash my hands constantly! The sanitizer strips the oils from my hands and drys them out so badly I can't even pick up paper. It even causes my nails to break and bend so much I cannot wear nail polish.
I started to use this lotion at work and it helps the redness on my knuckles. It is truly unbelievable!
