Trying to go natural but having trouble finding products designed for African American hair? But do nothing!? Not sure where to start? Do you know your hair type? 3A, 3B, 3C and/or 4A, 4B, 4C
We offer a shampoo bar designed for the African-American Woman's locks. My dear friend has complained about the lack of natural products for African American's for their hair care. Commercialism forces them to use product that sit ON TOP of their hair shafts without penetrating and helping with the dryness they experience.
"Black natural hair (i.e., african american natural hair) is sometimes labeled as nappy hair that needs to be corrected by a relaxer. We’ve heard of situations where women have been discriminated against in the workplace due to having natural hairstyles, which are deemed unprofessional by some employers. Others have been denied jobs or promotions because of their natural hair. Natural hair has also caused relationship issues for many couples."
After researching she and I formulated this special blend of oils, butters, herbs and emollients to bring moisture, manageability and health to Going Natural.
This Poo Bar is best for 4 A B C hair.

Argan Oil remains one of the rarest oils in the world; possesses an amazing ability to nourish, moisturize and improve skin elasticity, helps strengthen hair, dry, brittle hair is miraculously rejuvenated with increased shine and control, controls frizz, improves dry damaged hair, softens hair, adds shine, lightweight and non greasy.
Coconut Oil acts like baby shampoo by removing product from hair, it cleans hair, doesn't clog pores, bonds to hair, reduces protein loss in hair.
Grapeseed Oil is a light oil that coats hair easily, moisture sealing which penetrates hair, moisturizes scalp, and has a very high smoke point which make it a great heat protection for use with heat-styling products.
Jojoba Oil moisturizes hair and skin, mimics sebum (natural oil produced by humans), gives hair a shine. A vegan alternative Cetyl Alcohol (derived from whale oil). Excellent for general hair care.
Moringa oil has been reported to stimulate hair growth, according to sources. Moringa oil is said to exfoliate skin cells, which can open up the hair follicles. Moringa oil is also said to be a natural circulatory booster, meaning it can enhance the flow of oxygen throughout the body.
Olive Oil attracts moisture, lubricant, gives hair shine, great all-purpose hair oil or moisture sealing and general hair care.
Wheat Germ is rich in vitamins and protein, used to treat/slow hair loss.
Virgin hemp oil is another rich emollient known to help both skin and hair hold retain moisture. When skin is depleted of moisture, or dry, it can be painful and cause cracking. The same is true for hair and lips. Hemp contains high levels of essential fatty acids. It is said to contain more essential fatty acids than any
Mango Butter is similar to Cocoa Butter, moisturizes hair, offers mild sun protection.
Shea Butter moisturizes hair, softens hair, offers mild sun protection, soothes dry skin; smooths, protects and stretches hair. Some UV protection.
Cupuaçu Butter possesses a high capacity for water absorption which gives it superior moisturizing properties; offers a lovely emolliency that will restore elasticity and softness to skin, helps to regulate the balance and activity of lipids in the epidermis.
Aloe Butter is light, moisturizing, and not too greasy; moisturizing like shea butter but without the greasiness, will not weigh down the hair.
Panthenol (aka B5) is mostly used as a humectant, a substance that helps retain moisture, and is primarily used in skin and hair products. Panthenol helps moisturize hair and skin and stops both from getting dehydrated.
Molasses & Coconut milk are natural humectrants which add richness and much needed moisture to your hair shafts.
